Penny

Last weekend I went to Fiber Festival of New England with 2 new samples.  I already showed you Hoarfrost - an elegant, lacy cowl made with a Merino / Yak / Silk blend.

Today I get to show off Penny.

I caught Estrella just before she headed out on another training run and made a deal for a few quick pictures.  It took some convincing. There's another half marathon in the not-too-distant future, and she's all business when it comes to her training.

This one piece vest is knit side to side.  There aren't any seams, so the finishing is minimal.

The lace border is just enough to keep things interesting.

The pattern includes instructions for 5 yarn weights, so there are plenty of options.  The design is simple with beautiful drape.  This is one of those patterns that looks good on almost everybody.

The yarn is Edna Extra, colorway Tide Pool.  I never tire of working with this Polwarth / Silk blend.

I've finished 2 projects in less than a week - that gives me license to start something new.  If you need me, I'll be over on Ravelry.

Lovely! By the way, I mentioned your yarn in my blog post today.
