Back On Tour

Welcome to another round of the Holla Knits Blog Tour.  Earlier this month, Holla Knits released a Fall / Winter pattern collection.

One of the designs, Eastwood Cardigan, features Clara.  This worsted weight, 100% Blue Faced Leicester yarn is perfect for fall and sweaters.

Eastwood Cardigan utilizes two-color striping on the sleeves and back.

The front panels are solid and have a stitch pattern for texture.

And there's a bonus.

Pockets.  The perfect detail.

To celebrate the launch of this collection, I'm giving away a copy of Eastwood Cardigan.  Simply leave a comment and let me know what you're knitting this fall.  The winner will be chosen at random, and the contest runs through October 4, 2013.

Here's a complete list of the Holla Knits Blog Tour.

Sept 20: Knit York City

Sept 23: masi|knits
Sept 26: Dyeing to Knit with Yarn Love

Be sure to check out the other stops for more giveaway fun.

I'm mostly knitting gifts: got a sweater OTN for a niece (deadline! Auntie visit domeing up soon!), have made several & got more ruffle scarves OTN for holiday gifts, got one more fair isle baby hat in work, got yarn for Hubsster's sweater (when will I ever have the time?), and just finished 2 Pirate Hats, one of which is MINE MINE MINE!

I just bought a craftsy class on socks and have ordered some sock rockets. I've knit a couple pair years ago but my last attempts were not successful so I'm going back to basics. Very excited for some fall socks!

Lovely pictures!

I'm almost done with a pair of dark and light green striped socks and then I'm excited to start up another pair with Boston Strong (Lillian) stripes. I'm also working on a baby blanket and eyeing the materials for a ribbit wee austin hoodie that are beckoning from my stash.

Socks and a hooded scarf as gifts. And if I'm lucky I'll get those done in time to knit something for ME!

I'm knitting cowls in a bulky alpaca for four of my nieces for Christmas. I've never started Christmas Knitting this early. Hooray for me!

This fall I'm trying to get all my WIPs done and given to the giftees so I can start The Sorcerer's Sweater from The Unofficial Harry Potter Knits magazine.

I've been knitting some mittens, and some more mittens and just a few more mittens as Christmas gifts to ensure survival of our COLD Minnesota winters! ;-)

I'm knitting a baby blanket for a nephew who is due to arrive in December and a lovely wrap for myself. Both projects are taking FOREVER and I am currently looking for a nice hat or cute socks to break up the monotony.

I HAVE to finish the cashmere scarf that I started for my daughter-in-law. It was supposed to be for xmas last year. Also my granddaughter want a new scarf and a pair of socks. I don't think I am going to tackle socks this year though.

Plugging along on my master knitter hat and sweater. Sigh... there's so many things I'd rather knit and self control is not always pleasant.

I'm finishing up a sweater for my daughter and want to start one for myself. I also need to start on Christmas presents.
