Ahead of Myself

Confession.  I've spent a fair amount of time on Ravelry this
week . . . probably too much time because I got ahead of myself.  In my mind this project was almost finished except for the bind off.

In reality I'm not quite there.  This is Lovella, and it's been great fun. The first sections combine two of my favorites - garter and stripes.   Now I'm decreasing and working a little lace.  This part is moving right along, and the rows are getting noticeably shorter.  The bind off I visualized isn't too far away.  That's a good thing because I have a list of new projects I need to cast on, and it's pretty long.

This week's color inspiration comes from the grounds of Connecticut Sheep, Wool & Fiber.

Festive stripes.
