Stalled

I was working on this project last night when everything came to a complete stop.

This is Felix Pullover (Ravelry link).  I want to make the sweater a little longer than the pattern suggests, but I'm not sure how much to add.  It was getting late, and I couldn't make a decision.  I set it aside.  

I'm motivated to finish this project.  This morning the sweater is spread out for an accurate measurement.  I really want to keep working on this project, so I'll have a decision by the end of the day.

Porch Swatching

Picking up where I left off on Friday . . .

Over the weekend, I used my time on the porch wisely and started the swatch for my next project.  I'm pretty sure I'll have to try a different size needle for comparison, and then I'll have to block it.  I'll probably cast on later in the week, so it would be good to get the gauge situation ironed out.

Weekend Reward

In spite of all the interruptions, I've managed to have a productive week.  The final shop sample is coming off my needles today, and I'm heading into the weekend with a little reward.

It's always motivating to prep for a new project.

Since it's National Farmers Market Week, it's only fitting that this week's color inspiration comes from one of the local markets.

Sorting and Organizing

This has turned into a summer of sorting and organizing. Most of the household "hot spots" are under control, and I've also assessed my WIPs.  Good news.  It turns out I don't have that many projects under construction and languishing on the needles.

And there's been more finishing.

This hat is off the needles and blocked.  All it needs is the pom pom on top.

Monday Cheer

It's a grey day here so I thought I'd add a little colorful cheer.

Over the weekend there was more finishing and blocking. And starting.

I would have started at least a couple more projects, but this one is on a bit of a deadline.  I'm trying to stay focused.  

On the Blocking Board

It's been a great week for blocking samples.  We had a few days with low humidity, and I took advantage of the drier air. 

I had several samples that were patiently waiting for a bath.

Things dried overnight, and I kept the line moving.

I also blocked a couple accessories.  Now on to the next step.  Photos.
